Akıllı Yem 38 HP How to Use Concentrated Goat Milk Feed?
After ensuring a supply of grains (corn, barley, etc.) and roughage for breeding goats of both purebred and native breeds, Akıllı Yem 38 HP Concentrated Goat Milk Feed is recommended during the last month of pregnancy and throughout the lactation period.
The average digestion times for grains in the rumen are as follows:
For this reason, the use of corn is more beneficial in the feeding of breeding dairy and breeding meat goats. Corn flakes or barley flakes can be provided alongside Smart Goat Milk Feed. However, it is recommended to provide only corn flakes whenever possible.

How to Use It Alongside Standard Factory Feed?

The TMR recipe varies depending on the animals’ live weight, milk yield, milk fat content, number of milking days (SGS), air temperature, forage diversity, grain type, etc.
Our Animal Nutrition Specialists will contact you to prepare the most accurate TMR recipe tailored specifically to your operation. This service is free of charge.
Akıllı Yem 38 HP Important Considerations When Starting to Use Concentrated Goat Milk Feed!
⚠️ It must be fed as part of a balanced TMR recipe prepared in combination with roughage (corn silage, alfalfa hay, straw, oat hay, etc.).
⚠️ Do not use it with baled hay alone! To prevent rumination problems, it is recommended to provide at least 1 kg of hay or dry forage per goat.
⚠️ Akıllı Yem 38 HP When switching to Concentrated Goat Milk Feed, a feed transition program of at least 15 days must be followed. (You can seek support from our Animal Nutrition Specialists.)
⚠️ Clean water, rock salt, and high-quality roughage must always be freely available (ad libitum) to the animals.
⚠️ Treatments for internal and external parasites must be administered.
⚠️ Enterotoxemia (diarrhea) vaccinations should be administered at least once every 6 months (ideally, two doses 21 days apart).
Purpose of Development
Akıllı Yem 38 HP Concentrated Goat Milk Feed was developed to fully meet the needs of breeding does and goats for high-protein content and premixes—from the start of the lactation period following birth until they transition to the dry period—when mixed with barley and corn grits, under farm conditions.
Akıllı Yem The purpose of developing the 38 HP Concentrated Goat Milk Feed is to ensure that farms can meet their goats’ nutritional needs—including the rich protein and premixes required from the start of the lactation period following birth until the transition to the dry period—with minimal reliance on external sources, using only grains (such as barley, corn, and wheat), moist roughage (such as corn silage and beet pulp), dry forages —forages (alfalfa, ryegrass, oats, etc.), straw, and pasture grasses (fresh or dry), etc.—to ensure economical on-farm feeding with minimal reliance on external sources.
It is recommended to start providing concentrated feed to goats one month before kidding. The concentrated feed mixture given to goats should be gradually increased after kidding, and the ratio of concentrated to roughage feed should be optimized based on milk production or the number of kids.
In addition to concentrate feeds, it is recommended that goats be provided with ad libitum (unrestricted) rock salt (except during the last 1.5 months before birth) and clean water.
Akıllı Yem 38 HP Which Farms Can Use Concentrated Goat Milk Feed?
- Farms seeking to increase daily milk production per goat by 0.5–1 liter can use it.
- Operations that produce their own grains (corn) and roughage,
- Farms that procure their grains and roughage during the harvest season,
- Operations that procure their grains from the TMO (Turkish Grain Board) at a reasonable price,
- Operations wishing to produce their own feed,
- Operations wishing to use it in conjunction with standard commercial feeds.
This product is particularly suitable for farms that feed their dairy goats with “moist roughage”—such as corn silage, fresh beet pulp, ryegrass silage, etc.—as well as farms that use crushed grains like barley and corn.
Akıllı Yem 38 HP Concentrated Goat Milk Feed: For Which Animals Is It Suitable?
It is suitable for use during the final month of pregnancy and throughout the entire lactation period. If the animals on the farm cannot be divided into separate feeding groups, it can also be used until the dry period (breeding season) by reducing the feed allowance for animals as their days in lactation increase.
