Akıllı Yem is a brand of concentrated feed developed for livestock operations under Dr. Derman İlaç ve Yem Kat. San. Tic. A.Ş. It is a specialized protein and premix concentrate designed to be blended with grains—such as barley and corn—produced by the farmer, as well as roughage like hay and straw. This approach reduces the farmer’s reliance on commercial feed and offers significant savings on feeding costs compared to factory-produced feed.
High-quality protein sources such as soy, flax, cotton, canola meal, and corn gluten meal; fractionated bypass fat, live yeast, organic/inorganic vitamins and minerals, sodium bicarbonate, monocalcium phosphate, plant extracts, MOS, magnesium oxide, etc. Synthetic protein sources (urea, ammonium sulfate, melamine, sodium monensin, etc.) are not used.
It has been developed separately for cattle (dairy cows, beef calves, etc.), small ruminants (sheep, goats, lambs, kids, etc.), and poultry (laying hens, geese, broiler chickens, etc.).
It was developed to enable businesses to provide cost-effective feed by using the grain and roughage they produce themselves, thereby minimizing their reliance on external sources.
It is particularly advantageous for farms that practice agriculture-based livestock farming, produce their own grain, or obtain subsidized grain from the TMO.
