Important Considerations When Starting to Use Smart Feed!
⚠️ It must be fed as part of a balanced TMR (Total Mixed Ration) recipe prepared in combination with roughage (corn silage, alfalfa hay, straw, oat hay, etc.). Our Animal Nutrition Specialists will contact you to prepare a free, customized TMR feeding recipe for your operation.
⚠️ Do not use baled hay alone! To prevent rumination problems, it is recommended to provide at least 2 kg of hay or dry forage per calf.
⚠️ Akıllı Yem 38 HP When switching to Concentrated Feed, a feed transition program lasting at least 7 days must be followed. (You can get support from our Animal Nutrition Specialists.)
⚠️ Clean water, rock salt, and high-quality roughage must always be freely available (ad libitum) to the animals.
⚠️ Treatments for internal and external parasites must be administered.
⚠️ Enterotoxemia (diarrhea) vaccinations (2 doses administered 21 days apart) must be administered.
⚠️ It is recommended that animals brought into the herd from outside receive Pasteurella and IBR vaccinations.

Live Weight Estimation Table for Feeder Cattle Based on Chest Circumference
If you do not have a scale, you can estimate the approximate live weight using the table below by measuring the cow’s chest circumference (just behind the front legs, around the body) with a tape measure.
📏 How to Measure: Wrap the measuring tape around the animal’s body, starting just behind the front legs and passing through the widest point of the ribcage (point C on the back), then read the measurement in centimeters (cm). Match the value to the “Chest Circumference” column in the table below to determine the approximate live weight (kg).
The chest circumference measurement is taken along the C line, which runs just behind the front legs.
