Important Considerations When Starting to Use Smart Dry Season Feed!

⚠️ It should be fed as part of a balanced TMR (Total Mixed Ration) recipe prepared in combination with roughage (corn silage, alfalfa hay, straw, oat hay, etc.). Our Animal Nutrition Specialists will contact you to prepare a free, customized TMR feeding recipe for your operation.

⚠️ Do not use threshed straw alone! To prevent rumination problems, it is recommended to provide at least 6 kg of hay or dry forage per pregnant cow.

⚠️ Akıllı Yem 38 HP When transitioning to Concentrated Dry-Period Feed, a feed transition program of at least 7 days must be followed. (You can seek support from our Animal Nutrition Specialists.)

Routine Practices for Your Herd

  • Clean water, rock salt, and high-quality roughage must always be freely available (ad libitum) to the animals.
  • Internal and external parasite treatments should be administered after birth.
  • Enterotoxemia (diarrhea) vaccinations (2 doses administered 21 days apart) should be administered.
  • It is recommended that animals brought into the herd from outside receive Pasteurella and IBR vaccinations.
