Important Considerations When Starting to Use Smart Heifer Feed!
⚠️ It should be fed as part of a balanced TMR (Total Mixed Ration) formula prepared in combination with roughage (corn silage, alfalfa hay, straw, oat hay, etc.). Our Animal Nutrition Specialists will contact you to prepare a free, customized TMR feeding formula for your operation.
⚠️ Do not use it with baled hay alone! To prevent rumination problems, it is recommended to provide at least 3 kg of hay or dry forage per heifer.
⚠️ Akıllı Yem 38 HP When transitioning to Concentrated Heifer Feed, a feed transition program of at least 7 days must be followed. (You can seek support from our Animal Nutrition Specialists.)
⚠️ Clean water, rock salt, and high-quality roughage must always be freely available (ad libitum) to the animals.
⚠️ Treatments for internal and external parasites must be administered.
⚠️ Enterotoxemia (diarrhea) vaccinations (2 doses, 21 days apart) must be administered.
⚠️ It is recommended that animals brought into the herd from outside receive Pasteurella and IBR vaccinations.
